A little trouble. A little difficult to keep in one place.
I plan two weeks and come home a month later. I know where a road trip starts; where it ends is another question. Take me somewhere warm and you’ll have trouble getting me into actual clothes, which is a packing problem, not a confession.
Out here you won’t see my face. You’ll see the places: the skylines I book hotels for, the dinners that run past ten, the beaches that got rained on. The side of me that stays up late lives one tap further in, and it will ask you politely before it lets you through.
